Adding Color Without Commitment
How to transform any room without touching a wall
There is a belief most people carry into their homes without ever questioning it: that color lives on walls, that to bring a room to life you need a weekend, a roller, two coats of something brave, and the nerve to actually follow through. The most interesting rooms I have ever walked into rarely announce themselves that way because color, when it truly knows what it is doing, moves through a space quietly and deliberately through objects and light and the layered evidence of a life actually being lived rather than staged for someone else’s comfort.
